Luigi Capucci is admitted to practice before Italian higher courts. He graduated with honours from the University of Bologna. He has been counsel to Lalive & Partners in Geneva from 1995 until 2012, and he has earned an extensive experience in both domestic and international arbitration, having served as secretary, arbitrator, sole arbitrator and chairman: he has been appointed in ad hoc arbitrations and in proceeding administered by International Chamber of Commerce of Paris, Milan International Chamber of Commerce, Camera Arbitrale di Ravenna and other institutions. He is also active in ADR, and he is a skilled negotiator in complex negotiations: he has served as member of the board of directors of Bank Cassa di Risparmio di Lugo, Banca di Romagna s.p.a. and Cassa di Risparmio e Banca del Monte di Lugo Foundation. He has lectured at the University of Bologna and he has been a speaker in congresses and a former member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and of the ICC Task Force on Trust and Arbitration. He focuses on financial and banking services, international contracts, work contracts, energy supply related contracts, Joint Venture, M&A, corporate and unfair competition.
