Luis Bravo Abolafia
Luis is an Attorney-at-Law (Spain), partner at GAMERO & BRAVO ABOGADOS and Of Counsel at JOSÉ MARÍA ALONSO ABOGADOS. He specializes in commercial and sport arbitration and contract law. Luis has primarily worked in transactions and disputes located in Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Latin America, Persian Gulf and Central Africa. The main sectors of practice he focusses on are Engineering & Construction, Sport, Foreign Trade and Finance. Luis has mainly worked in arbitrations administered by the ICC, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS/TAS), the Spanish arbitration courts and in ad hoc cases. Jointly with his work as counsel, he regularly acts as secretary of the arbitral tribunal in international commercial and sport arbitration proceedings. Luis holds a law degree and a business administration degree from the University Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain) and a master in international business law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE). He is also co-founder of the Madrid Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (MAD VYAP).
